Samantha’s interest in art began with small pencil portraits. She then began working with acrylic paint at age 15 for which she developed a great passion. Her interest in the human face has remained the focus of the majority of her work.
She attended the University of Idaho to obtain a fine arts degree for three semesters until deciding to change universities and majors. She the attended Boise State University where she studied social work, specializing in death and dying, and grief studies. She intends to pursue her PhD following work in the field.
